AGIL Introduction

Asian Gemmological Institute and Laboratory Limited (AGIL), is the eldest established gemmological laboratory in Hong Kong since 1983 (hereinafter called AGIL). AGIL functioning as an individual professional gemmological laboratory adhered to ''Integrity'' as its mission and persists in the jewellery trade. AGIL provides advanced gem testing services to the trade and general public. In-house advanced instruments includes: DTC DiamondSure; Cathodoluminescence; FTIR Infrared Spectrometer; Raman spectrometer; Sarin DiaMension; UV-Vis Spectrometer and X-ray Fluorescence Analysis.

 

AGIL starts teaching FGA courses in 1983 and It is one of the earliest registered Allied Teaching Centre (ATC) of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A). AGIL is authorized to teach FGA/DGA gemmology courses in Chinese and English. AGIL's graduates granted four times World No. 1 "Best Candidate" of FGA/DGA examinations.

2009: Firstever "The Mok Diamond Practical Prize",
